|Granite in the kitchen or maybe in the bathroom?
Although granite has been present in kitchen designs for many years, it has primarily gained popularity in kitchen arrangements, appearing in the form of sinks and worktops. Granite has a lot of practical features that give it an advantage over other materials. It is definitely harder, more durable, and resistant to discoloration.
Thanks to low porosity, it does not absorb water, and removing dirt from granite surfaces is extremely easy. These features, combined with its natural origin make it a unique and exceptional material. It can be successfully used not only in the kitchen but also in the bathroom.
Beautiful symmetry of Correo
There is no doubt that for many years granite has been used as a material for floors, worktops, and shelves, and today it is becoming even more and more common to see granite washbasins and shower trays in bathrooms. In response to this trend, we have introduced a designer collection of granite products.
The Correo washbasins and shower trays fit perfectly into the trend for interiors inspired by nature. The original design is a guarantee that there is nothing alike on the market. The entire series has been designed from scratch. Both product categories are characterised by symmetrical lines that facilitate water drainage.
"A well-designed product is not just a matter of a nice appearance. It's a never-ending observation and detection of needs," says Katarzyna Łogwinienko, author of the Correo collection and designer at Deante - simple, classic form and clear, sharp surface variations of granite products that have an impact on everyday comfort of use - these are the features that make Correo virtually created for modern bathrooms."
Granite products are available in as many as three colour variations - nero, metallic grey and titanium anthracite. The first colour is ideal for bathrooms where black tones dominate. The other two shades of grey will complement any modern arrangement - from mellow to bolder interiors.
The delicate line of Correo granite shower trays is distinguished by pleasant texture and the absence of clear rims. The subtle, minimalist design of the shower trays is complemented by flush-fitting, replaceable drain grates.
The series comprises as many as five shower tray models in various shapes and dimensions. All of them are suitable for installation on the floor screed, supported by construction material, or directly on the floor.
Invited into the interior, granite does not impose itself. Instead, it serves as a chic backdrop to other elements in the bathroom. Correo shower trays and washbasins are made of the highest quality granite - and, as befits the top quality, it is resistant to the rigours of everyday use.
Ideally fitted
The collection is complemented with a modular bathroom console, designed by the duo of Kasia Łogwinienko and Michał Łoj, which has been perfectly tailored to suit washbasins from the same series. The steel construction combines durability with a light form and thus is an ideal alternative to the classic washbasin cabinet. The basic version is a console with a solo washbasin, or with stone shelves in three original colours: smooth white, black, or structural grey. If the size of the room allows, the console can be expanded with additional modules: narrower 20 cm or wider - 30 cm.
Individual elements can be combined following your own taste and imagination, which allows for a variety of stylistic results. The console doesn't have any troublesome floor nooks and crannies, which makes it extremely easy to keep clean.
All products within the Correo collection have been manufactured in accordance with the idea of zero waste. Both the steel used to manufacture the console and the natural stone used in the production of the granite products are long-lasting materials that are supposed to serve for years. The unique Correo products will add character to your interior while tackling the toughest household tasks.
The Correo collection is entirely manufactured in Poland.
