Deante at Cersaie 2026: the Carta by emo design collection in Bologna

Deante

Cersaie 2026 has come to an end. For five days, from 21 to 25 September, we met in Bologna with architects, interior designers, distributors and journalists from around the world. We talked about business, design, what investors need and where the interior furnishing industry is heading. The highlight of our stand was the Carta by emo design collection, created in collaboration with the Emo Design studio.

Five days in Bologna: the Deante and Deante Design Studio stand

At stand B77 in Hall 21, we showed bathroom and kitchen products from both of our brands, Deante and Deante Design Studio. We laid out the display so visitors could touch and use the products, not just look at them.

Carta by emo design: the collection's international debut

The trip to Italy gave us the chance to show everything the Carta collection can do. In Poland, the collection drew a strong response from architects and customers. Bologna showed us that its design also speaks to people from other markets: conversations around Carta were among the longest at our stand.

Red Dot Design Award 2026 for Carta

Our presence at Cersaie this year had added significance. Carta received the Red Dot Design Award, an international design prize. An independent jury awards it after judging form, functionality, ergonomics and build quality, among other criteria. Carta is the second Deante Design Studio collection to win in this competition. In 2024, the award went to the Silia rain shower.

Who did we meet at Cersaie, and what did we talk about?

Our stand welcomed visitors from across the industry, and each group looks at fittings and ceramics from a different angle.

Architects and interior designers mainly asked about how well each collection fits together, installation dimensions, colour options and technical data sheets.

Distributors were interested in the range on offer, product availability, servicing and spare parts. They decide whether a collection will be easy to find in showrooms and through installers in their country.

Trade journalists were looking for new products and the stories behind the collections, especially our work with designers. Their reports later help readers compare what different manufacturers offer.

Design enthusiasts focused on form, detail and material, and most of the time they simply picked up a tap to feel it. Their reactions show which solutions will catch on in everyday use.
